Workforce Skills Sales Support Analyst in China

About the role: We are currently looking for a customer focused Sales Support Analyst individual to join our team. As a Sales Support Analyst, you will report to the Regional Manager and work independently under appropriate supervision to achieve sales goals and ensure efficient sales operations. You will collaborate with regional and international teams to support business development and revenue growth. To succeed in this role, you must actively engage with key customer groups, possess proficiency in Pearson management systems and processes, including centre applications, customer inquiries, payment processes, etc. You should also have excellent communication skills, be diligent and responsible, and genuinely enjoy the pleasure of lifelong learning.

As a Sales Support Analyst , you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to assigned clients and groups, proactively managing customer expectations and promptly addressing inquiries.

  • Collaborate with team members to support key clients and high-value potential clients.

  • Ensure timely and consistent handling of new approvals, address changes, and other applications.

  • Ability to showcase relevant platforms and services to external customers and understand product operations and pricing structures.

  • Support the promotion of Pearson International Education certifications and resources.

  • Support and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and existing and future clients.

  • Provide support for sales activities within the region.

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and continuously learn about Pearson products and services, the education environment, and factors influencing market development, including product and industry knowledge.

  • Complete other tasks assigned by the line manager.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • 2 years of relevant experience in the education industry, with preference given to those with international education, vocational education, or training experience.

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Customer-oriented with top-notch customer service skills.

  • Willingness to proactively and continuously learn with a growth mindset.

  • Ability to reflect on work, continuously improve relevant skills, and identify areas for growth.

  • Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and under supervision.

  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.

  • A true team player who can also take initiative in their work.
