About the role:

The role of Digital Marketing Coordinator offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to help create and implement an external media, list and partnership strategy for FT.com with the key goals of driving subscriber acquisition and retention. The FT is looking for someone to suport all Digital Marketing activities on a team comprised of three Marketing Managers.

Responsibilities
- Support existing partnerships to drive brand awareness, traffic generation and, most importantly, identify direct to subscription opportunities for the FT.
- Support current Paid Marketing efforts including SEM and Display.
- Support the Audience Development team's Social Media efforts.
- Work on creative generation for email and on-line campaigns.
- Optimize activity for both quantity and engagement: traffic and subscription acquisition.
- Monitor and report metrics associated with all activities.
- Coordinate with Product, Membership and other internal teams.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in digital marketing (retail or media industries preferred).
- A keen interest in business/audience development.
- Direct marketing experience is desirable.
- Experience working in the on-line/acquisition environment with a basic understanding of the technology underpinning platforms.
- Interest in digital market trends in media consumption.
- Proficient working with the Microsoft Office Suite with particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Team player.
- Strong communication skills.
