Responsibilities
- Owner, facilitator and implementer of best practice-based testing strategy and operating model to sustain testing services and quality delivery across the assigned functional program.
- Overall responsibility for test planning and management – including strategy, estimation, planning, budgeting, and execution oversight for the testing life cycle. Works closely with Project Manager(s) in the development of project plans/schedules/estimates, providing input and guidance regarding testing requirements.
- Ultimately accountable for the implementation and adherence of QA controls.
- Coordinates and facilitates test planning, scheduling, and execution with cross-team partners.
- Reviews and evaluates QA deliverables -- scenarios, plans, test cases, traceability, and test data.
- Primary liaison to the business for UAT planning and coordination.
- Evaluate, identify and recommend test team staffing requirements; participate in sourcing and fulfilment to achieve deliverable objectives.
- Supports impact analysis of change requests.
- Supports the creation and management of development, test and production environments
- Develop and oversee full QA lifecycle deliverable tracking and reporting – including defect management.
- Ensure accurate reporting of defects from capture to resolution
- Overall owner for the testing assets – ensures structured organization and management of documentation and artifacts to support sustenance, reuse, and knowledge management.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement test process/tool improvement opportunities, including automation models and tools.
- Monitor and manage quality risks, escalate.
- Support management reporting consistent with established program governance requirements.

Qualifications
- Web application and n-tier distributed applications testing.
- Waterfall and Agile testing methodologies.
- Functional, non-Functional, and complex integration testing requirements.
- Experience with third-party and offshore-based testing models and sourcing.
- Skills with automated tools and experience in establishing automation framework using Selenium, QTP
- High level understanding of Performance and Security testing
- Domain knowledge of working with CMS and Ecom. Applications
- A sound understanding of industry best practices for QA
- Strong communication skills to promote and ensure adherence to the QA strategy
- Strong attention to detail, processes, compliance and metrics in line with QA Strategy

Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate project planning, daily scrum meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings
- Ensure team is practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
- Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, point estimation and task definition
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress
- Improve the productivity of teams by identifying and removing impediments, as well as preventing distractions that interfere with ability to deliver the sprint goal
- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution; empower teams to self-organize
- Ensure the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially shippable
- Recommend process improvements to the organization and lead their implementation
- Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information

Qualifications
- 2+ years project management experience
- Certified Scrum Master with Scrum Master experience a plus
- 5+ years experience on a software development team
- Self-starter with strong creative problem solving, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Great project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Bachelors Degree required, MBA a plus
- Knowledge of and experience in the K-12 and/or education technology industry preferred, but not required
