This position will be responsible for the Northern CA territory. The ideal job incumbent will be located within or near the territory.<br/><br/>Responsibilities include:<br/>-  Promote products and services to target specific private sector accounts.<br/>-  Conduct territory analysis to successfully determine account priorities, sales strategies and goals.<br/>-  Write territory plans and maintain business plans for each major account.<br/>-  Within the assigned budget, efficiently and accurately sample review copies to account decision-makers.<br/>-  Scout and report manuscripts from prospective authors, develop author candidates, and work through appropriate editorial staff to negotiate contracts.<br/><br/>This position requires travel to client locations in the Northern CA area with some overnights possible. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications</b><br/><br/>Requirements:<br/>-  3 to 5 year&#8217;s successful sales, education, or publishing experience required.
